Nabeel Perfumes is one of the leading perfume brands in the GCC and contacted Strokes retail interiors to strengthen the brand, it’s retail facilities and customer experience by designing one of their latest showroom located at the Global Village in Dubai. Strokes offered Nabeel a broad array of services and delivered a “turn-key” solution for them from brand positioning to the build-out of a new prototype environment. The 550 sq ft space was designed from scratch and included designing of the structure, walls, ceiling, flooring, interiors, lighting and shopfront. The highly creative design solution was firmly grounded in scientific insights derived from research and hard data about consumer behavior. The strategies and designs were crafted to realize measurable business results for the brand. Strokes conducted qualitative and quantitative research to attain consumer insights, attitudes, likes and dislikes and the design solution was arrived at keeping in focus their existing theme with a value-added exciting twist, Nabeel’s earlier showrooms were not product specific, this basic flaw was done away with and the latest design was created with more product specific display units and retail space. Our retail strategists and designers worked closely with Nabeel to identify and solve specific retail problem areas: poor customer retention; ineffective customer way-finding and communications; inefficient customer flow; etc. The general aesthetics were improved and in-line with product theming so as to revamp the existing design and to maximize business results. . While the arabic flavor was maintained, it was enhanced with modern elements. Rustic arabic touches were included with the use of textured gold hints in the interiors. The showroom was created in a record time of 15days and the main aim was to increase overall sales, Optimize value perceptions and improve guest appeal. The showroom is slated as one of the best showrooms at The Global Village and is in the running for the “Best Pavilion Award”. Strokes shifted the client from traditional lighting to a turn key energy efficient lighting solution that aimed at reducing energy consumption while providing the best possible light for their specific working environment. Special, sustainable lighting techniques were used to accent Nabeel’s products. This shift was highly appreciated by client and has turned the Group thinking to applying this improvement to all their showrooms. This winning partnership continues with Strokes creating their 20900sq ft HQ at SAIF Zone, UAE. The hi-tech design will be ultra-modern yet retain the core Arabic essence of the company.Strokes is also involved in creating Nabeel’s kiosks and their booth which is to be reused for the forthcoming Beauty World.
